Blue Planet Sequel

Post by Sammy » Mon Feb 20, 2017 8:50 pm

As if Planet Earth 2 wasn't amazing enough... more exciting news for any fellow David Attenborough fans... later this year we'll be getting a seven-part sequel to Blue Planet!

Includes looks a newly discovered species and behaviours, and following in the footsteps of Planet Earth 2, lots of use of new technologies to capture things that haven't previously been caught on camera. Going to be AMAZING.

More info here.

That's exciting! Can't knock a bit of Attenborough, and Blue Planet was pretty amazing.

As if I wasn't excited enough, soundtrack is a collaboration between Hans Zimmer (one of my favourite composers) and Radiohead.

About the music.

Has anyone else been watching it?

So, sooooo good.

The fish that use tools! And the grouper and octopus power couple. The adorable flapjack octopus. The dolphin and whale besties. The six-gill Sharks with their mental, crazy eyes. Ooo! And the toxic shock eel. So many highlights.

Absolutely loving it. Still got the latest one to watch but the first two? Ah man. And the tool using fish! How sodding cool was that?
