Piccolo was irked that Kami was taking charge of things, but then it was probably best to keep that to himself. Though being sent to babysit humans was going to be a headache, that one whom his other half beat back in the tournament was especially going to be irksome. They didn’t seem to progress half as much as one might’ve expected from training intensively for an entire year. Though perhaps they could do something useful like help survivors get away from the fighting, but he really ought to focus on what he was going to do. The saiyans were here now, and they weren’t waiting around. He’d teach them the folly of that decision, Khol’s plan might work but he’d rather teach them all the price of attacking his planet.

Yamcha wasn’t exactly confident, but he was fighting aliens alongside aliens and demon kings. Not exactly a normal day for him, he’d rather be playing baseball but the Earth needed him. Well needed anyone strong enough to throw a decent punch right now, and that unfortunately included him. Following the Demon King’s lead was certainly a sign of how screwed things were, and how poorly he saw their chances. The saiyans might find this all just all part of their twisted vision of fun, not him, he was a realist. They were likely to die over some stupid beef between Khol and the King, well he hadn’t paid attention to the reason the first bunch of saiyans turned up. Bulma had been giving him a headache over how the female saiyan had spoken to him, like he had any say in how that happened.

-----

Krillin was resolved, he might not be truly ready to do this but it had to be done. Saiyans weren’t waiting, and they’d went through a lot of training to not put it to good use. So it was he flew with all the speed he could muster, his home needed him and he wasn’t even considering retreating from that duty. Kami had shown them the price of failure, how Terra had become a graveyard, that could not happen to Earth, he wouldn’t let it.

-----

Tien wasn’t one to wait around, the moment they were tasked with aiding Khol, he was flying. Though how much help that one would actually need from someone like himself was unknowable, but it was a good opportunity to test out his strength. While the gap between him and Khol had only gotten larger, he wasn’t prepared to count that as folly on his part. Even among the saiyans on their side he was a bit of an anomaly, so he would test his strength against these fools who dare sully this planet with their evil.

East City - Nappa and Mid Class

Kures and Nappa’s fight was fast paced, there was little holding either of them back. Even though Nappa had little intention of killing his one time trainee, he hungered for a real fight. Killing Earthlings was too simple, no honour in it to be had, but facing a fellow saiyan even if she was being a bit stupid was going to be fun. His training had paid off that was for sure, she was once among the low class warriors and now at least a mid class like himself. She had potential like her brother Kakarotto, and once he beat some sense into her about following their orders she’d make a fine addition to his own squad. Raditz was obviously not good enough to tame her, a wilful saiyan needed a firmer touch than a sibling could give. Nappa was more than up to the task, it was his duty to mold the young into hardend warriors.

He took a quick peek at the one standing before the Prince, the exile was definately not someone to be molded. Without considering the power level on his scouter, he could tell this was a battle hardend warrior, one who had taken in the lessons of the warrior on a proper battlefield. He’d be lying if he didn’t admit he’d love to fight them, and more so if he claimed there wasn’t part of him hoping he’d slap that smirk of the Prince’s face. Nappa was a loyal saiyan warrior, but he felt the King pampered his son too much, didn’t truly let him achieve the potential they had as a saiyan elite. Tarble was another such example of the King’s seeming hypocrisy, such a weakling in the royal line ought to have been killed long ago for sullying the warrior’s path with their meekness. But no, Tarble was at first exiled to some nice little planet and then rescued following the destruction of their home. Saiyan’s died ensuring that stain upon the saiyan race was brought back into the fold, while this exile was to die, when their strength was something they could be making use of. But King Vegeta was the type to kill potentially powerful warriors, he did it with Paragus’ brat and killed him for good measure. All cause the kid was incredibly powerful, and might rebel against the crown. They were saiyans, the royal family ought to remember what that truly meant. Maybe facing a saiyan like this exile would do the trick, as he hungered for true battles, not this task they’d have given a child.

“You’re daydreaming again Sir.”

Kures noted Nappa had a tendency to get lost in his head, it was something she noted in their training. He was a very odd saiyan in that respect, likely recalling some old battle this reminded him of. Though she noted his gaze moved to her brother, so it was likely he was considering something a bit current.

“And you didn’t think to attack? That’s not what I taught you girl!”

He charged forward, as she danced to the side swinging her leg out to hit him in the back. It didn’t hurt him all that much but it did send him through a building. Kures hoped there weren’t still people inside, Nappa grunted as he pushed himself out of the rubble.

“You know it’s more fun fighting people who fight back.”

Nappa laughed, he couldn’t disagree, even if they both knew that it was only a half truth. Nappa knew of her disdain for engaging in such tactics, even if they do get the job done. They went against her view on how warriors should fight, a bit too naive for Nappa’s tastes be he never did bring her around to it cause he sort of agreed. Warriors shouldn’t need cheap shots to win, but he was more pragmatic. Understanding that his own enjoyment had to take a backseat to fulfilling his orders, even if he tried to make sure that happened as little as possible.

One of his trainees was behind Kures, charging their attack, Nappa on one hand wanted to tell them to stand down, but it was best they have her out of the fight sooner than later. Before the Earthling warriors turned up, and he’d have to be more serious than this glorified sparring session with a wayward pupil. But that was not an option now, as a beam of ki engulfed the young saiyan leaving only a crater and their steaming body. He looked up to where the beam had come from, it was a green man wearing a turban and cape.

“I’m going to make you suffer for that!”

Nappa didn’t like losing his trainees, and this green freak was going to pay for it. His body glowed as his hyperguard activated, Kures knew that Nappa was going to be a lot more troublesome from this point onwards. That and Piccolo was here, which meant the Earthlings ought to be around here somewhere.

Somewhere over the Sea Kakarotto and the High Class

Raditz and Kakarotto while playing up the act as they had perfected over the years, were indeed going full out on each other. For it was too perfect an opportunity to test themselves against the other, and Raditz was finding himself still the inferior brother. Which irritated the hell out of him, fuelling his attacks with the spite towards his own lack of progress.

“You knew it wasn’t going to go any other way brother..”

Kakarotto looking down at his brother as he struggled to deflect a ki blast, Kakarotto was actually happy with the progress his older brother had made in a year. It wasn’t enough to overcome the his natural potential, but it was still something he didn’t think was possible. He’d had to ask him when all was said and done how he had trained, and try it out himself.

“..so just sit back and watch me fulfil your assigned duties.”

Raditz drew himself up and threw the ki ball right back at Kakarotto who batted it away.

“It’s about time you learned some respect for your older brother!”

And again the two engaged in a rapid series of punches and kicks, those that came along with Kakarotto were more than happy to watch. They weren’t sure they’d be ok fighting a son of Bardock, and they were getting to see Kakarotto in action. It was a rare treat, considering how little King Vegeta finds need to send out the strongest child of Bardock. Though they ought to have paid attention, as a disc of ki flew in slicing one of them in two.

“What the?”

The others looked around to see a short bald man with no nose, along with other humans and the Taroga. He was pretty famous for constantly mouthing off, considering their mission here scouters recorded him openly talking about killing King Vegeta himself. Even if almost every saiyan basically said similar things, in that they all sought to be the strongest, openly declaring it made the King rather angry. It was going to be a good opportunity to get into the King’s good graces, with his head. So they charged towards the Earthlings and the saiyan traitor.

“You never did teach him to keep his mouth shut brother..”

“..a saiyan likes to fight, and his mouth gets him into plenty of those.”

The pair breaking off momentarily to watch the saiyans under Kakarotto’s command, at least it took some of the pressure off them. Maintaining a fight without truly harming each other, was exhausting. Though they both felt sad that another saiyan had to die, and more would follow before they knew which way the wind blew and Kakarotto could freely choose his path.

East City Saiyan Mothership Vegeta and the Elite Class

The Prince of all Saiyans was incensed, some Earthling deeming themselves a worthy opponent for him. He’d take them all on, Exile included, and it would not be a worthy fight for he who bordered on legend.

“Well this lot wanted a little chat about that, but I suppose I do have better things to deal with.”

Vegeta knew it was going to happen, but it didn’t prepare him for it. As the Saiyan Exile sped past their defensive ring as if it weren’t there, a massive beam of ki followed him. A three eyed Earthling was the cause of that beam, Vegeta even in his anger was a bit impressed that such a lowly life form could generate such an attack. Might’ve bowled a few of his Elites aside but it wasn’t overly much to worry about. But his anger was rising, they had effectively failed in stopping the exile getting to the ship and he was going to be prevented from stopping the fool. Removing this lot would take but a few moments, but those moments would give the Exile all the time in the world to get to his father.

“Damn it!”

His ki explosively rose, sending a few of his elites flying from the force of it. He was not going to be made a fool of. Not by these Earthlings, he noted one of Raditz’s squad among them. Was she like Kures, another who had gone native? It didn’t matter, she’d pay for her foolishness in standing before him.

“I’m going to send you all to the next dimension!”

The Elites formed up again, well a few remained on the ground, unable to move. Whether they lived or died, it mattered not to Vegeta, they would purge this planet of the weaklings as well as the Earthlings.

Sakuranbo covered her face against the outburst, but Yuki was unmoved, and only retained her calm smile at his outburst. But when the outburst of his ki faded, the wind it had stirred up had not. If anything, it was still picking up speed, and already snowflakes were beginning to fall. In moments, their numbers filled the air in a stormy blizzard. It might even interfere with the mothership's landing maneuvers.

"I understand how you feel," she told him as the temperature continued to plummet, though she showed no reaction. Her exposed skin didn't even goosebump, despite how much of it was visible. "But I assure you that you are not getting snubbed, your highness. I am Yuki Musume, Warrior Princess of the Frozen Lands, and I am the most powerful being of this planet."

"What?!" Sakuranbo reflexively balked at that claim, but she was ignored.

"Oh, but you don't mind, do you?" she asked as the gale continued to grow, but it wasn't clear what she was referring to, since she was raising a hand to point. "Oh, of course you don't. You're the visiting dignitary, after all, so it's only right."

Lost in the snow and wind, nearly invisible hailstones flew out to their mistress' bidding, aiming to snipe the scouters right off of the faces of both Prince Vegeta and the elite warriors, shearing metal and ripping the devices clean off.

Natsumi had continued her exercises with a vengeance as the day of the confrontation with the Saiyans approached. Every morning, she would do her routine, followed by ever escalating challenges she assigned herself. Time after time, she performed the meditation ritual Master Gohan had taught her. Every moment she was awake, from dawn until dusk was spent on her training. And it was time well spent, she thought to herself. In particular, she had taken an interest in the new ability he had taught her. The Kamehameha. One of the new training techniques she had begun to use was particularly effective in training her Ki. She would chose a spot on the ground beneath her, usually a lofty mountaintop, and throw herself from the brim of the lookout. The wind would whip her short hair from side to side as she summoned ki from deep inside her, and thrust it forth with a cry. Natsumi would continue, until she would near the ground before landing, and assessing the damage before repeating it over and over. While the girl found the training quite enjoyable, she swore she would never tell Corey about this.

The evening before the big battle however, she simply and quietly gathered her things once the day’s training was complete. It was simple, gathering up her worn gis and tucking them under one arm. She had always been a simple girl, and had little interest in luxuries or extravagances. But for tonight, the austere and barren room she had spent the past few months in were not enough. There was only one place on Earth she wanted to be.

Brown eyes blinked, casting off her thoughts as the familiar sight of her family dojo came into view. A faint light could be seen in the window, illuminating what she knew to be the bedroom. She slowly descended, part of her wishing she had skipped the first fifty push ups of her routine for a shower. But that didn’t matter now. As the worn stone of the front step pressed against her feet, she raised her hand and knocked decisively. The door swung open, to reveal the familiar form of Corey. Messy blond hair hung over his eyes, dusty with sleep and wide with surprise. She might have visited him when she could, but that was only over the weekends. To see him tonight, was very out of character for her. He opened his mouth, but only her name escaped him.

“Hi Corey.” She said. Her voice sounded unusually soft and feminine, even to her. Certainly not like a warrior woman who had been training for battle alone for months. Oh God he was looking straight at her...Natsumi swayed from side to side. Part of her chastised herself. She was acting like a quiet schoolgirl. Somehow though, she didn’t mind that. She knew what the morning would bring. All thoughts of pretense and strength were far from her mind now. She just wanted to show her inner self, to her beloved. “May I come in?”

Corey gave a single nod, his mouth still agape. She felt her eyes lower as she stepped inside her own home. Though she knew every inch of it well, after so long it felt strange and unfamiliar. Her man turned behind her, the door creaking quietly, leaving the two lovers alone.

At the first glimmer of dawn, Natsumi’s eyes blinked awake, the dim glow of the rising sun barely illuminating her room. She rose up, clutching the blanket to her bare form. Her gaze turned meeting the sleeping face of the man beside her. Her beloved Corey. She smiled down at him. It was good to see him one last time, before the battle that would call her away. Part of her wished he could come with her. That they could fight side by side like the stories she used to hear as a child. But if one of them had to be in harm’s way, she was glad it would be her instead.

After rising and washing in the bathroom, she quietly changed into her clothes. Her fine dueling gi, untouched since her high school days. A plain white thing, with a black belt, white pants and the signature red arm guards and bandana. When she reached the door, she stopped, looking back at her man. Still asleep in bed. She smiled to where he lay, before she glided off into the sky. Hopefully he could forgive her. Leaving him alone with nothing but a letter explaining where she had gone. If he could, good. If not...she had no regrets.

He would live. Even if she couldn’t.

It wasn’t long after that she found herself standing on Kami’s lookout, nodding as the old green...thing, explained his plan. She still wasn’t quite sure what he was, but she would trust in their impromptu commander. If Master Gohan trusted Kami, she would do the same. She didn’t need to know or trust them. Corey and all her friends were counting on her to work with them and win. She followed after the other three, eyes defiant and full of cold fury as she stepped after Piccolo. With a leap, she followed after them. Ready to fight.

Namori stayed afloat like a tied down balloon while he watched Raditz and the Saiyan go at it. He could feel the difference in power before he even arrived. He felt like an ant in comparison. It was the same way he felt a year ago when Khol's power was revealed for the first time. The training that he went through for a year wasn't nearly enough. This was the power of a true Saiyan warrior. And their home was destroyed? Just how much of a monster was the person that nearly wiped out their entire species? He tried to focus more on the two fighting now. He was sure that the other Saiyans couldn't tell but these two weren't trying to kill each other at all. Namori remembered Taroga mentioning Raditz having a brother. This one must've been it. He couldn't recall his name though. And even though he had no intention to kill his own brother he was sure he had no qualm in ending a human's life. This was the first time Namori felt like he could really die. They had the Dragon Balls, but still he wasn't ready.

"Namori! Now!" Taroga yelled out towards him. He picked the perfect time to be distracted. A squad of High Class Saiyans were heading right towards them. He wasn't sure what was going through his head but the Namori he knew was more focused than that. The noseless Krillin started things off with an impressive attack that he made note to look into later. Now it was time for Earth's distracted protector to do his thing.

Namori remembered exactly what he had been training to do in this very moment. He built up the energy within him and waited for the Saiyans to get closer. He only had once chance to surprise them with this. When it was time he yelled out while releasing the wave of electrical energy that disrupted and deactivated their scouters and any other technology they had on them.

Taroga smirked and turned to the Saiyans that were heading for them. "You're right, Kakarotto. I've been looking for a good fight for a while. I hope your crew can live up to my glorious expectations. If not, I hope they can swim." Taroga knew his current limits. He had gotten stronger and was now stronger than the High Class but not by much. He wasn't going to die here. He wasn't a match for Kakarotto or the Prince yet but Saiyans grew stronger in battle. This was his opportunity to do just that. Life or death battles was where power really came from for Saiyans. He opened his right palm and a mid-sized orb, red in hue, formed. Once it was fully formed he launched it at the most eager Saiyan in the lead.

As his group departed the lookout, Gray took a glance at the others. All humans, as far as he could tell, except for Piccolo. The woman he had seen training on the Lookout with the old man, Gohan. Yamcha he knew by reputation from Krillin and Tien, and he had evidently been training with Krillin’s old master, Roshi. All he knew of Piccolo was that Kami referred to him as his other half, but given the power Kami and Popo seemed to possess, however little they actually used it, that was encouraging.

There wasn’t much time for chatter on the way to East City, and Gray didn’t bother with any. Instead, he watched his teammates, reading their movements and getting the best feel he could for how they would fight. The obvious play was to support Piccolo and let him carry the brunt of the battle, but if it was obvious to them, it would be to the enemy – rather, it would become so very quickly to any strategist worth his salt among them. A better plan was to obfuscate Piccolo’s position as the strongest among them for as long as possible, taking on whatever threats the humans could handle on their own before grouping with the “Demon King” to handle larger threats.

Mind settled, plan in place, Gray closed his eyes, following Piccolo with his other senses, and relaxed his mind and body the way the monk had taught him in what seemed another lifetime. Doubts, fear, anger, hope, even strategy all washed away in a wave of calm and neutrality as he found his center and freed his body to respond to its training. Even with his weighted clothes – he had opted for the 1 ton to start with as the drastic increase in speed at its removal would offer a significant strategic advantage one his opponents thought they had adapted to him – he felt lighter.

East City was already in chaos when the group arrived. The streets were littered with broken buildings and ruined bodies. People were fleeing through every street, alley, and avenue, trampling one another in their mad rush to presumed safety somewhere else. From their vantage point above as they approached the city, Gray could see the futility of escape. The invading Saiyans had positioned themselves around the city in a wide perimeter that was slowly closing, walling in the city with more and more wreckage with every passing moment. Rage welled up in Gray, threatening to break both his inward calm and his outwardly neutral demeanor, but he fought it down.

“We’ve got to break that line and open a path for people to get out, or there won’t be anyone left to save!” he shouted over the wind of their flight. “If you get into trouble, shoot up a signal and I’ll come back to help.”

With that, Agent Gray peeled away from the group, headed directly for the nearest Saiyan. As he approached, he decided to take a deceptive approach and drew his pistol. Knowing it would be useless and counting on the gesture to bait the Saiyan into underestimating him, he landed, shouted in feigned outrage, and emptied a magazine at the invader.

“Hey, you! Get outta my town!”

He hid his other hand behind his back, palm facing out, and began concentrating ki into the lethal spinning disk he’d learned from Krillin. All he needed was for the spiky haired oaf above him to take the bait.

East City Nappa and the Mid Class

Nappa bowled through Kures and straight for Piccolo, Nappa’s anger was great. This green one would suffer, though his swinging arm hit nothing.

“I thought I taught you to dodge girl..”

He was standing on the arm, and swinging his leg at Nappa’s face. Knocking the saiyan warrior backwards, though it did not cause him any damage. The hyperguard was beyond the ability of Piccolo to punch through. Kures rose to her feet, dusting off her clothing, and sighing. Piccolo was going to be like that, well she did have expectations to live up to.

“How about you find your own fight, Nappa and I were getting to the good part.”

Her own ki rising as she opted to use hyperguard herself, might as well avoid any incidental injury. A battle like this could have an attack come from anywhere.

“Don’t be so selfish, General Nappa has more than enough power for the both of you.”

He rubbed his cheek, so this Green one was the reason Kures was going native. He also had a certain level of skill, and considering the scouter couldn’t give him a figure above double digits, he was able to control his power level. Definately not an earthling, perhaps this was the Namekian recorded to have fought Turles’ team. That made them even more worthy of destruction by Nappa’s hands, his ki charged into his right hand then into a pair of fingers. It was the technique that had erased this part of the city, and again he flicked his hand upwards. Piccolo sensed it, and was bracing himself for the attack. But it didn’t help as the pair of them were sent flying as the attack errupted from below. They braced themselves in the air looking down at the general of the saiyan army. Nappa laughed, they lived, this was going to be enjoyable.

-----

Yamcha had intended to help the people flee, Yamcha had hoped that would be enough to deal with it. What he had not intended was being attacked by a saiyan, he was bloodied, beaten, but not broken, no not yet. While the saiyan who ambushed him gloated over his prize, he rose and pummelled the Saiyan with his wolf fang fist. He didn’t end with just one, he continued knowing the saiyan would kill him if he let up, again and again his hands darted at the saiyan till they fell to the ground their eyes completely blank.

“Welcome to Earth you son of a...”

His own gloating was caught short, as the area exploded, Nappa’s attack unknowingly claiming one of the defenders of Earth. For Yamcha’s body lay crumpled and dead.

-----

A saiyan was ready for Grey, and they descended upon him. Launching a series of ki blasts down upon him, exploding all around him. Though he appeared to have survived without any injury, which led to a bit of a drop in his confidence. But he was still a saiyan warrior, and this Earthling would be his prey.

-----

Natsumi was intercepted by a saiyan’s fist, it launched her into the dirt, leaving her sprawled on the ground. Aside from being winded and a bit dirty, she was still healthy. The saiyan descending towards her to try finishing the job they started.

-----

East City Vegeta and the Elite Class

Vegeta’s hands darted around slapping the ice out of the way, so she was going for their scouters. Probably intended to run and hide from him, smart, but a warrior did not run, a warrior faced their foes. And she would be facing him, angry at failing to stop the Exile. Others though were seemingly unable to do as he had done, losing their scouters so easily, pathetic. They ought to be able to survive a bit of cold without losing their edge, his ki rose again literally blowing the blizzard away from him.

“Tricks don’t work on me girl, I am Prince Vegeta, not some low class punk.”

He pointed his fingers at her, it didn’t seem to mean anything. But then the area around the Snow Princess exploded. He pondered if that would suffice in removing an earthling, though this was one who Sakuranbo had been recorded killing. So perhaps the scouter would not give a proper answer, considering here she was and stronger than that recording gave merit to.

“You, why do you stand before your Prince?”

Her answer had better be good as he was not in the mood for any games. His Elite were preparing himselves to face her should that be the case. The three eyed human was already fighting with some of his Elite, holding his own rather well. It was entertaining to say nothing else, they’d die of course, there was no way the Elite would lose to an Earthling. But impressed anyway by how the doomed warrior held themselves, not that his sneering face would let it be known.

Somewhere high above the ocean

Raditz and Kakrotto’s fighting had become even less intensive as they watched the Earthlings and Taroga fight the mid class saiyans.

“Want to take a bet on who knocks Taroga on his ass?”

“Not right now, seems the Exile has made it onto the mothership.”

“So the Prince failed?”

Their punches and kicks interupting the conversation, both finding it interesting that the Prince had not been able to stop well more stall Khol for longer. But it did mean that things would come to a head quicker.

----

Krillin was ducking and weaving between attacks, since his opening attack the saiyans weren’t giving him much room to breathe. Noting Namori and Taroga were in a similar situation, things were going to get messy if this kept up. He watched as Amy was knocked down towards the ocean below, she was in a very tight spot, and likely wasn't going to last long if she didn't react fast.

----

Mothership

Khol had entered the vessel easy enough, well blew a hole through the ship which might not have been the best idea ever. But it wasn’t like King Vegeta was going to just open the door for him, he controlled his ki as there was no point getting involved in any incidental fighting. His own scouter would help him avoid the few saiyans left inside, well few compared to the Earth’s population, but more than enough to wipe them out. Considering all it would take is a full moon to really screw things up for the Earthlings, but that wouldn’t be a problem for the moment. He noting the numbers of the highest saiyan on board, he assumed that was the King. It wasn’t going to be the fight he imagined it to be, but that just meant he wasn’t likely to fail this planet of children. So it was he moved along, cautious that the King had other plans in mind should he have made it past the Prince.

Namori

Namori had trained all this time for this moment and it looked like it wasn't enough. Why had his growth become stagnant? This couldn't be all that he could muster up. There were others much stronger. He refused to accept this as his limit. There wasn't much he could do about it in the moment. He was currently going back and forth against one of the Saiyans. He barely had any room to breathe let alone to formulate an attack. He knew he wouldn't be able to keep this up for long unless he made a decisive move and quick.

He could see that the others weren't in much better spots. He wasn't sure how much longer Krillin would be able to manage The difference in power was too noticeable. His opponent was going exceptionally hard against him after the surprise attack earlier. Taroga seemed like he was enjoying himself a little too much. Or he could've been putting on a front. He wasn't exactly sure. Raditz and his brother weren't going as hard as they were before. Namori couldn't sense any ill-intent coming from either of them. It was a relief that their bond seemed stronger than loyalty to the throne. The only one that was in clear danger was Amy. He didn't want to underestimate her, but if they were going to turn the tides at least one of them had to take out another Saiyan.

Namori had a plan, but he had to make sure that no one on his side could get caught up in it. It'd also take up a good bit of his stamina and if he made the wrong move that could prove to be a downfall for him. He didn't have time to think about it though. He continued to avoid the Saiyan's attacks and started to gain a bit of rhythm from it. He had power and skill but compared to a trained warrior of multiple styles it wasn't much. That would be the deciding factor.

He charged the ki in his right fist causing it to charge with electric energy. By the time he was noticed, it was too late. Namori lifted his arm prepared to strike down until he felt a small, yet sizable power suddenly drop to nothing. The power he felt was definitely familiar. It was Yamcha's. He forced the fist down in anger and planned to follow it up with an Exploding Wave that'd put a hole in the ocean below them.

Taroga

Taroga actually was enjoying himself. Even though he found himself being pushed by his opponent. He was trying to recall his name the whole time, but he just couldn't quite place it. He didn't really care for most of the others and the only names he remembered were ones of significance or if he worked with them. This one was just a random to him. He did find it interesting that he was so considerably known among ones that he never really knew. It swelled his pride to know it.

A bit of his old personality truthfully slipped out as he let out a laugh while avoiding consecutive punches. "This is amazing. I honor you as the stepping stone for my ascension. Your defeat will mark the breaking of my limits." He could only get so far fighting Earthlings. To really push himself and allow for a burst of power is going against another Saiyan of nearly equal footing. He already knew how he was going to beat this one. He didn't care if he died or not. As long as he was out of the fight it didn't matter.

There was a benefit to Taroga's loud mouth. Others knew of his Demon's Scream, but if you were close enough to see that he could use it in point blank range you'd be too dead to let anyone know. So whenever it came to a close battle of melee you'd never know if his mouth opening was for an attack or another one of his boisterous claims.

When he dodged another attack he opened his mouth and charged the ki within his throat and launched it out towards the other's head.
Sometimes the lines get blurred. Sometimes the only thing between you and them is the mask and cape.

Yuki 26,400 Vegeta 58800
Yuki had been planning this battle in her mind ever since she first felt the Saiyan Prince's power level. This was not a fight she could win conventionally, but she firmly believed it was one she could, in fact, win. It would mean fighting smart, it would mean pacing herself, it would mean committing herself minimally to any assault and focusing on defending herself. This was why she opened with the technique she did, besides the fact that stripping their scouters would be beneficial, it was a technique that required minimal physical action from her, even movement, as she would be able to keep her eye on the biggest threat and what he might do in retaliation.

Her arms had shot up with a flurry of snow as she saw him motion, she of all people well aware what an innocuous point could mean, and sure enough, there was that well of energy she expected to be coming, and a moment later, the air around her exploded, something that would have set her world to spinning.

Meanwhile, Sakuranbo frowned in thought at the question, not having taken any real aggressive action yet. It really was the do or die moment for her conviction. "Honestly, your highness, besides testing the power I've gained here, I really don't have a personal reason. I've nothing against the crown. But my comrades and the only family I still know put in on this mission, and so I'm in with them." Her frown inverted into a grin, though, as she clasped her fist. "But you know what? For all our time running, all of our warrior classes, all of our assumptions of power, this planet turned out to be pretty special. A nobody low-class piece of garbage like me, in a single year, surpassed your own elites with the training we found here."

With that, she stopped restraining her power level, letting it shoot up to full as blue energy surrounded the air around her like fire. "Surely your scouter can tell that not one of your elite warriors can now challenge a low-class warrior like me. Heck, they're struggling with one Earthling. I could easily tip the balance in his favor and still do my own fighting. If it did this much for us, imagine what it would do for our elites. Imagine what it would do for you! We could stop running from Frieza! You could transcend legend!"

The blonde's grin came down into a crooked grin as she motioned to the smoke cloud from his Dirty Fireworks. "Or at least you could actually hurt this planet's self-proclaimed strongest."

Sure enough, Yuki was dusting her arm off, as if soot was the worst thing Prince Vegeta had done to her.

If he looked back to Sakuranbo, the woman's grin would be back. "So what do you say, your highness? Mind if I show you my gains by walloping on your elites?"
Yuki: 32,000 (had braced against the attack)
Vegeta: 58,800 (Not yet any retaliatory action from Yuki, waiting on response to Sakuranbo's proposition)
Sakuranbo: 36,000 (No action taken yet)

The Saiyan took the bait, but unfortunately he didn’t charge in the way Gray had been hoping. Instead, he unleashed a volley of ki blasts, forcing the commando to release the energy he’d been building and focus on blocking the incoming blasts instead. That the Saiyan registered surprise when Gray came out unscathed was encouraging, and it afforded just the sort of opportunity Gray’s initial strategy was built on. In his admittedly limited contact with the defected Saiyans, Gray had picked up on something of a superiority complex that seemed to permeate the alien race’s culture. Both the monk and his Agency training had taught him that perceiving oneself as the dominant force was a weakness waiting to be exploited. There wasn’t time for further musing, as the shock only registered on the Saiyan’s face for a split second. Gray suspected it would be followed a much more serious attempt to kill him. This suspicion was punctuated by the sudden extinguishing of Yamcha’s power nearby. If anyone needed a reminder of the seriousness of the situation, that would serve.

Gray launched himself at the Saiyan, taking advantage of the momentary surprise to try to close the gap between them. Time seemed to slow as he entered what he knew to be the most dangerous fight of his life. The Saiyan’s eyes widened in further surprise at the Earthling flying through the air far faster and further than the others he had exterminated, then narrowed with what Gray recognized as lethal intent. He responded by bringing up his hands for another barrage of ki blasts, his superior Saiyan physiology giving him enough of a speed advantage on his earthling opponent to obliterate him before he even made it to striking distance…so why was the earthling smiling?

From his position several meters away, Gray threw a rapid barrage of punches at the Saiyan’s chest and face, which were unprotected as the alien had his arms spread wide gathering ki just as he had done before. The Saiyan’s expression changed again, from a confident smirk to confusion even as he brought his arms forward to obliterate the commando. The confused look was erased as the strike projections hit home, concussive blasts of ki slamming into the Saiyan and battering him off balance. His energy blasts fizzled and dissipated as he lost concentration, and then Gray was on him, kicking, punching, and forcing him further on the defensive with every blow. Gray took advantage of his enemy’s utter disbelief to do as much damage as he could until he saw the counterattack coming. Unfortunately, as effective as the onslaught was, it wasn’t enough on its own to overcome the biological differences between Saiyan and human. The counterattack was still too quick for Gray to completely avoid, and the invader sent him tumbling back to earth with a powerful knifehand.

“HOW DARE YOU!” the Saiyan roared.

Gray smiled.

That was bullshit.

That's what Corey would have said, she mused to herself.

The attack was unexpected. Certainly painful. But if the Saiyan presumed Natsumi was out of the fight, he was sorely mistaken. As the girl spiralled out of control, she gathered her strength in her arm. Beneath the red armguard she wore, her skin shifted from its familiar pale hue to a bright golden sheen. Though hidden behind the arm guard she could feel the energy flowing through her, bathing her limb in the familiar sensation of Ki. She was prepared. And not a moment too soon. The ground was looming ahead. She had to time this just right. With the ground little more than feet away, her golden arm coiled back like a cobra. It was a sensation familiar to her, from her days of practicing karate as a child. Then, as she could feel the aura of the tall grass a mere moment away, her arm lunged forward.

“Grrrahhhh!”

The ground shifted and cracked beneath her, but her extended arm did not yield. She sighed with relief. The blow thankfully seemed to have killed the momentum of her fall. She stood up from the soft and broken earth, covered in dust and dirt. Embarrassed, but far from defeated.

Well, that was done. Now for the counterattack.

Standing by the wayside nearby was a handsome looking old tree. In happier times, its verdant branches might have proved a place to relax with Corey and enjoy a picnic for two. Now however, it was a tool for war. The light in the young woman’s left arm faded, before the right lashed out, leaving a golden ring of energy around the tree’s circumference. As the glow faded, the beautiful trunk began to slide forward. Groaning as the aged trunk began to topple to the ground. Not that she would let it. Grasping hold of the trunk, she grunted, before thrusting her Ki-enhanced muscles forward with all her might. The tree soared up into the sky like a battering ram, bright green leaves swaying in the wind like the aged banners of a forgotten empire, straight at the Saiyan who had struck her. It wasn’t as if she expected it to stop her attacker. Far from it. A tree wasn’t a threat to a human child, much less an alien warrior. But it would work for now.

She leaped up after it, taking flight behind the now airborne trunk. She followed beneath the trunk, the better to let it shield her from sight. Not to mention evade any incoming attacks should he decide to knock it out of the sky with a Ki attack of his own. Power built in her left hand, as she called Ki into her palm. Then as she neared her target, she threw out her arm, letting another shimmering crescent fly out at the Saiyan. Leaves and branches parted as the glowing wave of Ki lashed out towards him, followed swiftly by Natsumi herself. The astonished face of the Saiyan loomed before her. She screamed. Not a scream of fear or wild anger, but cold and carefully molded concentration and wrath. Ki glowed brightly in her right arm, her left swiftly moving to match it, before the young woman lashed out her arm. Flesh and bone yielded before her blow as the Saiyan turned its face to one side, the indentation of her fist marring the fine warrior’s honed physique. A second blow from her other arm lashed out, bashing him on the side of the head and knocking his face in the other direction. With calm and careful control, Natsumi breathed in, before her fists resumed flying in earnest, a cyclone of blows, as her Golden Fist Inferno raged in full force.

East City Nappa

Nappa had cleared their battlefield of much in the way of cover, and life. He seemed quite proud of his strength, and it wasn’t inconsiderable. That much Piccolo had picked up, though he would ensure that victory was his. The Demon King was not going to back down, and launched himself at the Saiyan general. His arm stretching out to punch the Saiyan while his other arm snuck out and behind to grab the tail. However Nappa did not flinch, that was something Piccolo did not expect, not after hearing about the weakness of the tail.

“I’m no low class warrior Namekian!”

The aura around Nappa intensified, Piccolo let go in order to block the obvious reprisal. However Nappa’s arm did not stop when it contacted his own arm, this wasn’t the same was when Khol cut an arm off. No that was smooth and swift, this was his arm being broken off with just brute force. He swung his body around to kick Nappa away, but the Saiyan didn’t budge. He laughed as he grabbed Piccolo and threw him into the ground.

“You’re not even worth the effort, slug!”

Kures though was there, her own aura sparking as she flew into Nappa the pair of them barreling across the city. Piccolo decided not to regenerate just yet, and put his effort into charging the special beam cannon instead. Waiting for the opportune moment to use it while the pair of saiyans finally broke up and began to trade blows, neither showing any signs of slowing. They were a very irksome species, and certainly built for fighting.

“You’ve shown some improvement girl, but you know I am beyond you.”

Nappa was enjoying the fact one he had trained had made such growth, even if it was at the hands of some backwater aliens. It was proof he was right to have taken her under his wing, and shown her just what a saiyan warrior was truly capable of.

“That’s not decided yet, not till we’re broken and bloody.”

A very saiyan reply, no fear of the difference in their power. Just a desire to fight, certainly not the same as her morther. Gine had none of that fire, Bardock on the other hand, he had it and then some. Those genes were definately the dominant ones, considering how fierce the siblings were.
Piccolo 15,400 (-5400 Getting hit by Nappa) Nappa 35,200 (-800 Hyper Guard) Kures 49,090 (No change)
East City Prince Vegeta

He wasn’t in the mood to play games, a low class saiyan claiming they could even hope to ascend to his level. Such nonsense, the exile likely filled their heads with such pipe dreams. None but he will ascend to the ranks of legend, but her offer did mean he wouldn’t have to dirty his own hands with such low born blood.

“Don’t blame me when you’re in the next dimension, you heard her, so get to it.”

The elite while not as his level should suffice in reminding this one why they had classes to begin with. To seperate those without potential from those with it, only a few ever ascended beyond their classes. Bardock, Kakarotto, they were the ones that sprung to mind. Mistakes made by the scanners most likely, rather than some talent for surpassing a limitation. For only he was born without limits on his power, and the Earthlings would pay dearly for defying that power. His ki errupting as he built up his power to it’s fullest, he would make this Earthling regret surviving his opening attack.

Tien was hard pressed, and tiring fast, his style of fighting took a toll on him. But he still was keeping the Elite from dominating him in this fight, the numbers game was getting annoying though. As one dropped from the sky to drive their feet into him, hurling him into the ground below.

Above the ocean Kakarotto

The strange girl hit the water, the saiyans above rained ki down onto her location. Unable to defend herself, she too became a casualty of the saiyan invasion. Raditz was irked by how easily one of the Earthlings had fallen, even after all the training they had put in, some were still not up to the level required to defend their home planet. Kakarotto though was surprised it had taken any time at all, they were after all saiyans these Earthlings were facing.

Seeing one of their own fall at one level sparked fear in Krillin and another pissed him off. The distraction did allow a saiyan to knock him flying backwards, but he managed to stop in the air. His hands were charged with ki, as he sent out what looked like a kamehameha, however as it approached the saiyans he raised his arms and the beam rose up and split. The saiyans that had defeat the strange girl recieved the full brunt of his anger, joining the girl in the ocean below. That still left him the saiyans he was fighting already, but it meant that none of those saiyans would be joining their fights to make things harder.

Mothership King Vegeta

The throne room wasn’t as empty as Khol might’ve expected it to be, seemed most of the low class and non combantant classes had been mustered into the room by the royal guard. The King it would seem wanted an audience for this fight, now that it could not be avoided.

“How’d you know I liked having a crowd watching me?”

Khol did after all find that aspect of the world’s martial arts tournament rather enjoyable, and had been a bit miffed that Piccolo had scared the crowds away during their fight. The King did not seem overly happy to see him, understandable but still could’ve done a better job of hiding that if he wanted to maintain the fiction that this fight was going to be a sure thing for himself.

“They are here to watch you die, to learn the fate of fools and traitors. Son of Kale, welcome to your end.”

The King launched a mass of ki at Khol, who didn’t move. It had no effort behind it, so why bother acting like it did? The impacts weren’t even enough to make Khol even consider he’d been hit, did the King truly think so little of his challenge that he wasn’t prepared to take him on with his full power?
“Then you need to try harder, or I shall be sitting on that throne before the day is over.”

He chuckled, as he began walking towards the King, who now realised that it might’ve been wiser to start with a stronger attack. But his scouter still indicated that this fool was still far below him, easy for the killing. Where did the confidence come from to even think he could take on Vegeta, King of the Saiyans? Madness most likely, lost in the cosmos so long their mind was likely broken. Believing themselves to be some kind of match for the strongest of all saiyans, whom only his own child had the potential to surpass.

“You still believe your challenge matters to me, foolish child. I am the strongest saiyan, you are but trash cast away lest you pollute my kingdom!”

The King launching himself at Khol, who continued to chuckle as he dodged punches, kicks and the occasional ki ball. The crowd weren’t particularly happy about that bit, as they were definitely not up to the task of taking an attack from either combatant. The royal guard did at least try to intercept such attacks, but even then the throne room began to have holes blasted into the walls as the King continued to try and break the last remnant of the traitor Kale.

Sakuranbo was all grins, of course. "So much fighting, all to myself. You really are generous to such a low-class scum as myself, my prince. I'll have to pace myself to keep up with so many strapping elites." She flicked a lock of her hair and smiled as light gathered in one hand.

But then suddenly threw it aside. "I think I'll start with him!" she shouted as a Metallic Flash leapt from her palm to broadside the Elite that had tag teamed Tien. The light engulfed him, and in its wake, his flesh was smoking and his armor battered, but worst of all, his eyes were stunned, leaving him sightless and open for a counterattack from the three-eyed monk. "If you elites need to tag team an earthling in a fight, you might as well be admitting he's better than you."

Her gaze snapped back to the others just as a saiyan buried his foot in her side, accompanied by a subtle sensation of cracking that was limited to her armor, and even as her body bent around the blow, she felt a grin come to her lips while her arms came up to begin intercepting the blows from his friends.

* * *

In response to the prince's release, Yuki let her own energy flow as the cold winds howled around the battlefield. "Come, your highness," she told him with a come forth beckon of her hand. "Give me your utmost." The next instant, her entire visage shifted, a frozen corpse held aloft by the winds. "Before you die!" Her voice reached his ears from all sides even though her lips didn't move.

"Gah!" the short man balked as he jumped back into a horse stance, both arms drawn back and overflowing with violet light. "Witch! Your tricks are useless against me! You want my best?! You won't live long enough to appreciate it!" The light pooled until the diminutive prince was nearly lost in the glow before he shoved them both forward. "SUFFER MY GALICK GUN!!!"

The corpse shattered into the surrounding, wind-strewn snowflakes just before his attack connected, but it couldn't fool his scouter. But that just made what he saw even more unbelievable. Time seemed to slow down even as his jaw went slack, his arms still stretched out with the discharging attack as his eye traced the alien's movement off across his right flank "Such speed ..." It wasn't possible for someone of such a low power level to be so fast. It might even have exceeded his own. In fact, the impression ... it was eerily similar to how the exile had moved past him. But that was a Saiyan, this alien couldn't possibly ...

"Unimpressive!" she shouted as she spun with the motion of halting her momentum and transferred it into a spear thrust for his kidneys. His armor actually bulged under the stress of the attack before it sent him spinning away.

Of course, he quickly corrected his flight, flipping until he was facing the woman again, but what had that been? His eyes again went to his scouter. 6,400. That hadn't changed. It was lower even than that of the low-class saiyan that decided to play with his elites. Very briefly, he considered that the device might be broken after all, but that would mean the impossible, and there was no way this Earthling could be anywhere near his level. But then where had that sudden strength come from?

He didn't have time to reflect further immediately, however, as blue light filled his field of vision, demanding his attention. He cursed himself for getting distracted with their power level disparities, then cursed himself again for allowing himself to give an alien that kind of credit ... until he saw the numbers his scouter was giving him. "Over thirty-thousand?!"

"Give me your opinion of mine! Hitodama Tatari!" He had missed her complex hand motions as she had channeled the frigid aura into a brilliant sphere, the source of all of that light, but it was hard to miss it as she hurled it for him without ever touching it. He threw his arms up in reaction, but the energy cascaded around him on impact and he felt his body dipped into a blazing cold he'd only experienced in the black depths of space.

The prince opened his eyes in the wake of the attack, his whole body stiff. The culprit was quickly identified as his eyes went to his arm and the coating of ice over it. He grit his teeth against its biting fangs, the prince of Saiyans would never give an alien the pleasure of letting something like this stop him. "Impressive how you managed to gather that much energy," he replied, flexing his fists and then every other muscle of his body to throw the ice away. "It was enough that I actually felt it. But I've seen many techniques that can produce more power than the fighter can normally channel. None of them can keep up that level of output." Vegeta's vicious smirk returned as he fell into a ready combat pose, his outmost hand pointed toward her. "Know this, such tricks may let you overcome your inferiority against lesser foes, but against a true warrior such as myself, burning through your energy so quickly will only hasten your demise at my hands!"

The fists flew at hypersonic speed. A flurry of blows, his tinted with pale and hairy arms, hers with much smaller limbs, tinted gold. Visible for only a moment before they vanished. There was no time for thought. No time for planning their next move. Just a continuous stream of actions and reactions. She could see the face of the man she was fighting, leering down at her with a bloodthirsty smile on her face. She regarded it indifferently however. There was no room for hesitation or fear inside her. Only the cool steely serenity of battle.

The saiyan continued his attempt at pummeling her, though as he did his right leg drew backwards. Natsumi noticed this temperately. Giving it more attention than needed would alert him she was aware of what he was doing. She waited, watching as his muscles shifted in preparation for his sneak attack. His powerful leg lashed upwards, and as it did she shifted to one side, letting his limb sail upward beside her. The glimmer in his eye and the fading smile on his face reflected his shock, before she took hold of his leg and threw him over one shoulder. Now it was the alien warrior's turn to tumble to the ground. A mere moment later, a loud thud came from the ground below. Dust floated up in a vast cloud, echoing her own fall to the ground.

Her gi's belt flapped softly in the wind as she slowly descended to the ground. A lesser martial artist might have lunged after him for a killing blow, or charged down to finish him off. That was a mistake, to sacrifice your stance, your control over the battlefield for a killing strike. That would just put her at a disadvantage. He would fall when he was struck down. Better to wait and see. She felt the soft earth beneath her bare feet. Soil and grass in between her feet. It might have been relaxing in another time. Now however in her honed and sharpened mind, it was just the ground beneath her. Her stance widened, assuming a ready pose as she stared at the fading cloud of dirt.

"Get up."

Namori

This was starting to get annoying. For a race that's supposed to be nearly extinct they sure had plenty of numbers to spare in a fight. Multiple fights. If they learned to fight together they would've taken over Earth easily. That was the one weakness they had. And even still it wasn't entirely exploitable.

Another Saiyan attacked Namori just as he had defeated the last one. He was essentially tagged in by the fall of his comrade. He attacked with enthusiasm and not anger. It wasn't like he cared for him. He just wanted the chance to fight the one that defeated him. He was eager to claim this head.

He stayed on Namori even more than the last one. He barely had any openings and they didn't even last. Namori had an idea but he had to wait for the right moment. He didn't try to attack and instead kept evading the Saiyan's punches. He started to charge the electric ki within him once again. He focused it into his right arm instead of just his hand.

His opponent took notice of the electricity building up and the concentration it took to do it. He punched Namori in the face getting a connected clean hit. It pushed him back and he used this as an opportunity to fly himself backwards. The Saiyan immediately followed and prepared a blast.

Namori thrust his arm forward and released his Celestial Lightning. The warrior's momentum forced him into the electric blast leaving him Frozen. A smirk appeared on Namori's face as he charged forward.

Taroga

Taroga was kicked by surprise but he was able to place his arms up in the last moment to defund himself but he still felt the force of the attack. He was sent flying down towards the ocean.

He cursed as he prepared to defend himself. His attacker charged up to him and started swinging. "What's wrong? You may have gotten stronger here but you are no born elite. You're not a special case like your father. You're a weakling with no potential."

Taroga stayed silent and continued to dodge.

"You really think you could defeat the King. If you could you'd be the one fighting him instead of the traitor. Not losing to me right now. Not dying on this backwater planet."

"You talk to much, you know that?" That was ironic coming from Taroga, but he said it anyway. He jumped back from the Saiyan and looked up. There were blasts split across the sky.

The Saiyan looked up and noticed as they all started to rain down towards him. He couldn't move in time as the first one hit him directly in the chest and the rest followed one by one leaving a ten blast explosion.

Taroga turned to the rest and yelled out "Who's next?"

East City Nappa

Kures and Nappa exchanged blows repeatedly, neither making any real headway. This didn’t phase the Saiyan General, as he enjoyed a fight. He’d had been disappointed if she had remained easy to defeat, she was one of his selected trainees after all. His aura expanding as he managed to land a kick and send her flying backwards, that was when he noticed the Namekian. They had been holding their fingers to their head for some time now, maybe they were the reason Kures was able to keep popping back? It was rumoured Namekians had strange powers, and that could include healing. But then Kures was able to keep up with him before the green git turned up. Didn’t matter anyway for Nappa rushed towards the Namekian to deal with whatever they were up to, though Piccolo had expected that.

“Special Beam Cannon!”

The beam drilled into Nappa, lifting him through the air. Piccolo breathing heavily as the Saiyan General fell to the ground, he had done it. Slumping to his knees, his missing arm regenerating as he felt it was probably a good idea to have both arms again. Kures walked over to him, noting just how poorly the Namekian seemed to be right now.

“You look like you need a nap.”

Before Piccolo could speak, Nappa was up, he could see the hole he had punched through the shoulder of the Saiyan. But he was still alive, and he was charging an attack in his mouth. Kures wouldn’t be able to defend in time, Piccolo grabbed her instinctively and used his back to shield her as the mass of ki smashed into him. Kures looking up as the Namekian was covered in smoke, he looked down at her before he started falling face first into the ground his eyes blank and unseeing, the great demon king’s child was dead, defending another.

“Damn it!”

Kures though she didn’t cry, she didn’t mourn, no her anger would not let her do such things. Piccolo had been harsh, had pushed her hard, but like the one who killed him, he had cared and tried to shape her into a better warrior. Not some thug to bully the weak, a strong warrior, and that warrior was pissed. Her ki exploding into life, taking Nappa a back, this wasn’t the Kures he had taught. That thought didn’t live long in his mind as he was quickly set upon by the saiyaness her blows rocking him even while he attempted to block them.

Grey
A saiyan notices the human, and promptly blasts them in the back. Honorable combat was not something he would trouble himself with when it came to those they were here to purge.
Grey (11080), taking a full blast from a saiyan for not posting this round
Ocean Kakarotto

The brothers fight hadn’t gone much further when their scouters picked up Kures’ spiking ki.

“What in the hell was that?”

Kakarotto hadn’t been here for the year, nor seen how the Namekian and her brother by blood had pushed their sister to new heights. Hadn’t been there to watch her eclipse him, but now there was plain as day. Kakarotto laughed, as the reality dawned on him.

“You’ve both been catching up all this time, well brother. I can’t have that.”

His ki exploding to it’s full power, Raditz sighed, this was going to get painful. Kakarotto wasn’t the type who couldn’t control themselves when they thought about a challenge. Though he wasn’t sure exactly how the younger brother would react to Khol, who was insane when it came to the limits they’d put on themselves to make a fight interesting.

“Ok, I get it. Gloves are off, I just hope you remembered to bring the healing chambers.”

Krillin was knocked out of the sky, splashing down in the water. He noted no saiyans were following up, which was nice. Instead they surrounded Namori and Taroga blasting them with a barrage of ki attacks.
Taroga (15110), Namori (15490), Don’t miss deadlines they hurt, also did all the math to get your current Stamina.
East City Vegeta

Tien was breathing heavily now, the saiyans were tough as nails. That much he already knew from the beating he got from Khol when they first met, and the one below had just killed Piccolo. The female saiyan didn’t like that one bit from the explosive nature of their ki and now overpowering of that Saiyan they had been fighting rather evenly with. But he wasn’t going to be surpassed, not by anyone. He began to charge his ki, though he had to keep dodging around as saiyans continued to make his task problematic. He was promptly attacked from above, drilling him into the ground below, he didn’t move. Continuing to charge this attack, all of it on the line, these saiyans would learn just how poorly he took their attempts to claim his world.

Mothership King Vegeta

“Come my King, holding back isn’t going to help you at all against me.”

Khol was pretty sure the King was holding back, likely cause the low class and civilians would not be able to handle the force of a truly powerful saiyan’s strength. Vegeta though was enraged, this stain upon his rule wasn’t dead yet. Infuriating that he had to do it all himself, he would make them pay for this, all of them.

“You dare mock me!”

His ki exploding in his indignation as he drew his arms back, the technique he taught his children. A technique used to destroy planets, and here he was having to use it against this exile. How his pride was wounded, and that only further pushed him to hurl pure destruction, without care if he harmed his own people.

“Galick Gun, Fire!”

Khol watched the beam headed for him, and his true predicament. If he moved the saiyans behind him would surely perish, for they were nowhere near powerful enough to do more than turn to dust before it’s might. If he remained still it gave the King an easy target, but then he would be giving this King a wake up call. He raised his hands and grabbed hold of the beam, as he had though he was strong enough to deal with it. He walked along the beam, finding it a rather good work out as the attack certainly wasn’t unimpressive. Reminding him of that time he walked through Piccolo’s explosion, happier times. When he got close enough, his hands darted out and grabbed the King’s arms as their attack exploded against is body.

“I dare!”

Swinging the King by his arms to hurl him into the viewing port of the vessel, it cracked upon impact. Khol didn’t stop though, as he launched himself at the King, smashing him through the view port and into the sky above. This was much better, more room for him to work with. He noticed some of the braver saiyans were already floating outside the vessel to continue watching the fight, the King managing to stop himself from falling. He was incensed, he was being humiliated by this exile, having his great attack defeated and being throw around like a rag doll. Khol would suffer for this, suffer like no other fool had suffered before.

“Now don’t waste my time! Give up or fight!”

Khol was goading the King to fight harder, even though this was in his favour to end the fighting quicker. He was still a saiyan, and Khol was certainly not one who wanted an easy victory. Not after getting his hopes up, and having the desire to crush this King’s full power. Show him just how foolish he was, and how far from the warrior’s path they had fallen, only then did he want to end it. For all the pain he’d caused, for all the suffering he caused, her.

Sorry for missing that round...we were three people down at work for the week. That won't happen again...
Training, both with the Agency and with the Monk, had taught Gray to shut out emotion and fight with cold, analytical neutrality. While that had cracked a little working with Krillin and Tien, whom he’d grown to genuinely like, the commando hadn’t forgotten the value of his teaching. In fact, the smile on his face was entirely manufactured to create the desired response in his Saiyan opponent, and it was working. No mistaking, the knifehand had hurt – he’d known it would when he planned to take it – but this Saiyan had seemed so offended by Gray surviving his initial peppering of ki blasts that allowing a more personal blow to fail would certainly break the alien’s psyche that much more.

“HOW DARE YOU!” The Saiyan roared a second time. Gray turned his smile to a smirk and motioned with feigned cockiness for his opponent to bring it on. Enraged, the Saiyan charged at the Earthling head on. This was exactly what Gray had been wanting from the beginning. As the Saiyan approached, Gray put one hand out in front of him, and raised the other above his head. White energy began to swirl over his upraised palm, and the Saiyan only grinned maliciously and charged faster. Just as Gray’s Kienzan took form, the alien made striking distance…and slammed into something solid that sent him reeling backward. Gray’s previously invisible ki barrier flared white at the impact, and that moment of rocking back on his heels left the Saiyan open for the disk Gray had been preparing.

“It’s been fun,” Gray said in his flat, lifeless tone, “but it’s time for you to…split.”

With that, he shoved his upraised arm forward, and the Destructo Disk sliced cleanly through the invader. As his legs and one forearm fell away and the light faded from the Saiyan’s eyes, Gray turned his attention to a group of three of the wild-haired warriors that were gleefully taking pot shots at fleeing civilians. His aura flared as he opened up his ki, no longer hiding his power, and immediately the three took notice. Gray met their gaze and kicked the fallen torso of their comrade to the side before motioning them forward. Unfortunately, this drew the attention of a fourth Saiyan, who blindsided the Commando with a powerful blast. Gray tumbled forward, plowing through an already ruined building and bouncing off the hood of an abandoned car before sliding to a stop on the street. For a long moment, nothing but dust and ash moved from his place.

Namori and Taroga

Namori once again felt a loss on the battlefield, but this one hit closer to home and was easily shook him to his core. Up until now death barely seemed like a consequence and more like an inconvenience. There was always Kami and the Dragon Balls, but the power that vanished took them out of play. Piccolo was dead and that meant Kami was too. He didn't have the time to properly mourn as more Saiyans continued their attack, but this time he was surrounded and he wasn't sure how he'd get out of this one. He couldn't think clearly enough. He pushed back into the air until he bumped into Taroga who was doing the same.

With no time to run they crossed their arms across their chest and braced themselves for the blast. Taroga activated the Glow in his hands to help defend against them. Even still he found himself even more pressed against Namori's back. "It seems like we're the target of everyone's affection." He noted that Namori didn't respond and didn't even attempt to do so. He wasn't really the super talkative type, but it still wasn't like him. He then noticed the anger welling up inside him. It was similar to what he felt a year ago when he found out that his friend was killed, but it was slightly different.

Tears started to fall from Namori's eyes as his anger grew stronger. He ultimately let out a powerful wail that pushed out his kiai and the blasts that currently aimed for him. "I'm sorry, Kami..." Anger still swelled within him and he prepared himself to finish this.

East City Nappa

He had to pull out his full power against one of his students, infuriating and exhilarating. She was now showing the potential he saw in her, beyond the eldest son of Bardock. She could even catch the prodigy that was Kakarotto, that wellspring of power just needed a trigger. Apparently that was anger, good, a saiyan warrior needed to fully embrace their savagry. Not like her mother at all now, this was Bardock reborn. But Nappa had a duty to fulfil, it was time to beat some sense back into her. The raise his fingers, and the area beneath Kures exploded, again, and again he did this, knowing just one would not suffice now.

“Now stay down girl!”

He could feel the aches and pains of battle, before now he’d have thought it would be impossible that he would be pushed so hard. But no, the Namekian and his hand picked student had done just that. Truly impressive, though the King might now find it so, considering as a general he ought to have things well in hand. Rather than be breathing heavily, looking at a crater where only one warrior dwelt. What he saw next shocked even him, as the smoke cleared.

“Agh!”

She was beyond words, the aura around her sparking, be she felt the pain. Not completely scot free did she manage to get out of that attack, but she wasn’t thinking like that. She wanted to pummel Nappa, break him, tear him apart. Clenching her fist, the aura seemed to shift, wrapping around it. Before Nappa could truly react, it was slammed into his gut. She didn’t care if it hurt her, but the ki held in her fist exploded out and sent Nappa flying. He landed hard, broken, beaten, she stood above him, her fist clenched again. Ready to finish him.
Kures [42740], Nappa [Defeated]
The human female would find not going for the kill was a mistake, as the saiyan while still prone raised it’s arms and launched an incredible beam of ki at her. Blasting her across the devastated city, smashing her into a building that promptly collapsed upon her. More saiyans coming to face the Earthling who was defying the will of their King.
Natsumi [12,250]
Outside Mothership Vegeta

Vegeta saw Nappa fall, he scoffed, beaten by a brat who had gone native. Pathetic, age was catching up to the bald fool. But he had his own problems, well victims, the prince didn’t ever have problems. Hurling a ball of ki at the Earthling, foolish of her to give him even a moment of to breath.
Yuki [15,520] (lucky I didn’t use an actual special attack)
The Saiyans were swarming the Saiyaness, hurling dozens of ki balls at her. Overwhelming her defences, they would exploded across her body.
Sakuranbo [20160] 3 ki balls without defense
Tien took heart that one of the major power levels in the saiyan army was seemingly beaten, though at the cost of Piccolo. It was time he put his own life on the line, his most devastating attack, he would need to use it again. The price, he was willing to pay, considering his comrades were now in trouble against this Prince and their elite. Raising his arms, clutching into the triangle gesture and pointing at the Prince of all Saiyans. He threw all he was into this, let it be enough to end this vile saiyan.

“Kikōhō!”

He felt his ki leaving him, hurling it at Vegeta, who in his gloating had barely any time to react to the scouter pinging him.

“What the!”

The beam washed over him, but all to soon the beam was gone. His armour sullied with cracks and scorch marks. His eyes bloodshot with anger, as he looked at the now falling Earthling. He wasn’t going to let them get off that easy, he launched a ki beam of his own, destroying the Earthling on the spot. Though Tien never felt it, having died in the attempt.
Tien [Dead], Vegeta [19,000]
Ocean Kakarotto

The pair were fighting much harder now, Raditz was barely able to keep his guard up as his brother fought more for his own enjoyment than any set plan. He was going to have a long talk to Kures about this, as she was the reason he was going to need healing. Firing up Kakarotto was the easiest way to get hurt, and well Raditz was the one on the receiving end. Being sent smashing into the sea below, again, that certainly stung, but he promptly rose to answer his brother with a Double Sunday blasting him up into the sky.

Krillin just lay, bobbing on the water, he barely had the energy to keep his eyes open. But he had to see this fight, that would decide their fate. The saiyans again were using their numbers to overwhelm his friend and the other saiyan. But they were continually able to get their defences up at the last second.
Namori [11,990], Taroga [11,330]
Outside Mothership King Vegeta

Vegeta was furious, this Saiyan brat was getting the better of him. No matter what he did, the child of Kale was still fighting back. No, still toying with him. He had his people watch, to show them the price of betrayal. And yet, here he was showing them little more than weakness. He could not have it, would not, shall not!

“Orga Blaster!”

Pointing his hand at Khol in a very similar manner to Khol’s own technique, which caused the saiyan to smirk as the purple tinged ki blasted into him. Letting it hit him, tensing his muscles to take the attack head on. He was going to break this King, before he took their crown. He noted it had left a sizeable char stain on his armour, Bulma was going to yell at him for that.

“Almost felt that one my King, though maybe you shouldn’t announce your attacks before using them?”

He flicked his fist out, and the air pressure smacked King Vegeta across the sky. Khol catching up and slamming him down into the ground, slowly descending to the ground his smirk still there. Which he noted only annoyed the King of the saiyans more. It didn’t seem his King was going to be able to throw much more at him, this battle was apparently nearing it’s end. Before Khol could truly enjoy it, a shame, considering how much this one had cost him.

Namori

Namori knew that he and Taroga wouldn't be able to keep this game of cat and mouse going. At this point it was becoming a battle of stamina and he was sure that they wouldn't be able to win it. He had to come up with a plan. Given the circumstances his arsenal was limited. He and Taroga had separated after his kiai and started to fly around to avoid the ki blasts, but they were getting closer and closer to their marks. He needed an attack that would be able to take out a group at once. They had already seen his Electric Explosion so he wouldn't be able to catch them with surprise again like that.

An idea came to him when he glanced down at the ocean below them. If he and Taroga headed to the water they'd be forced to follow them down to continue the fight. There was no one else in the sky that they could go for. From what he gathered from the Saiyans they wouldn't turn their attacks on Raditz. Given the species' love for pride they wouldn't dare interfere with their captain's fight. It'd result in the death of anyone that did. Namori signaled to Taroga and dove for the water. He continued to dive until he felt he was at the right distance. He then turned while holding his breath to see what they'd do.

Taroga

Taroga flew around just as Namori did. He hated running from them. If he took them on one by one they knew that he'd win. He was surprised the supposed high class took pride in fighting like this. He received Namori's signal and dove for the noseless human that would soon be on death's door. He wouldn't have put it past the others to kill Krillin since they couldn't get to him and Namori.

When he was in hearing distance he said, "Hold your breath." before hitting the water. Krillin did so and Taroga dragged him under. He had a feeling he knew what Namori was planning, but either way the two of them didn't need to be close. He continued to dive to get some distance between them and even more out of the Saiyans' sights.
Namori [11,990], Taroga [11,330]

Natsumi

The human girl gazed down at the crater on the surface of the park. She certainly seemed strong and defiant, the Saiyan Mothlyn hovering over her thought. But it left her weak, open to an attack of his own. And if she got rid of Keewly in the process, that suited her just fine. Because honestly? Her little brother deserved it. She held out her hand, energy rippling forth from her body to form an orb in her hand. Mothlyn smiled at it. Yes, this would do. Then, she drew her arm back and threw the orb down at her target.

“You Earthlings should know your place!”

The crackling ki flew downward with blinding speed, lighting up the air overhead like a golden comet. Natsumi’s head turned, giving the orb a sidelong gaze. Then the orb exploded against the ground, sending dirt into the air as it exploded. Mothlyn smiled at her handiwork. Damn. She thought her Devastating Yoyo Shockwave had been progressing well, but that seemed a little overkill. It certainly looked way more impressive than her brother’s Shockwave Yoyo Devastation attack. Mothlyn stretched in the air, ready to fly off and fight the next threat to Saiyan domination, when something caught her attention.

In the mist of dust and loam formed by the attack, little could be seen, but she could sense something, coming towards her. A shadowy form, moving decisively through the cloud of debris. The left shoulder of the figure was marked with blood, as was the shoulder of her gi, her gi and hair dusted with dirt. But as she emerged into the light, Mothlyn could see something else in her eye. A determined gaze, cold and honed. Despite Mothlyn’s Ki attack (as special and original as it was), there was no fear in the human’s eye. Only the will to fight. And for the briefest moment, the cocky Saiyan girl felt fear within her. The human rolled her neck, the joints popping audibly as dirt fell from her short brown hair and red bandanna. Mothlyn tried to laugh at that. Even if her voice sounded weaker than she meant it to, and her eyes wide with apprehension.

“Who do you think you are, some kind of tou--”

Mothlyn never finished her taunt. The human leaped up towards her without a word, either arm shimmering, as if her skin were made of gold. Mothlyn barely had a chance to raise her arms to cover her face before the first punch fell, bruising her ear and tearing at her long wild hair. Then the next blow came, and the next. Mothlyn would try to strike back now and again, but it was very clear which of the two had the initiative at this point.
